I grew up in Washington, DC and studied photography and painting at Boston's School of the Museum of Fine Arts and Tufts University. I live in Washington now and have had photographs featured in periodicals including The Washington Post, Ms. Magazine, The Progressive, and PDN, as well as other publications. I’ve done photographic work for the Rainforest Action Network, the Environmental Working Group, 350.org, the Center for Inquiry, the Faith and Politics Institute, the Frances Perkins Center, Mage Publishers, and other organizations.
